Veda Gayatri Calendar will become a daily reference point for all of us – the Sanatana Dharma followers

-when we offer our daily prayers, pujas or to know when any specific karma/ritual or any special occasion/festival needs to be followed. As such this is very much like a Prasadam from the presiding deity of our upcoming temple.

As we embark upon the new year 2026, we are marching with a hope to receive the VIGRAHAS of Goddess Lalitha Devi, Lord Shiva and Ganesha from India and consecrate them at the designated premises which we are hopeful to get it ready after all the necessary approvals are received from the City. We need the support – both physical and monetary – of the entire community here along with their families to move forward in this effort.

Priest Sri Veluri Subramanyam garu has spent considerable amount of his own resources to bring this calendar for the sake of all our devotees not only in this Tri City’ area of Lathrop, Manteca and Tracy but beyond as well. Please extend all your support and also share with your family and friends as well.

SHUBHAM BHAVATU!

Namaste to all,
With profound gratitude and devotion, we present to you the 2026 Telugu Calendar, an offering from the Veda Gayatri Culture Center (VGCC) to our cherished devotees and community members.
This calendar is far more than a collection of days and dates, it is a spiritual guide, deeply rooted in our Sanatana Dharma, connecting us to the rhythms of nature, the wisdom of the rishis, and the divine flow of time. It highlights important vrathams, parvas, festivals, and muhurtams, helping each of us stay aligned with sacred timings and live in harmony with dharma.
We are also delighted and blessed to share a significant and joyful milestone with all of you that our new temple premises will soon be opening, a long-cherished vision now becoming reality.
This sacred space will serve as a center for spiritual growth, Vedic learning, community
gatherings, and cultural preservation for generations to come. It is being built with the blessings SivaRamakrishna Dendukuri of the Divine and the support of each one of you – our extended VGC family. We thank you for your continued support and invite you to join us in celebrating the inauguration of the new temple premises in the coming year.

Namaste. I feel truly blessed to serve our Veda Gayatri temple and community in many roles. From childhood, I have believed that culture is not just tradition but a sacred bridge that connects us to the Divine. To me, dance is prayer in motion – an offering of body, mind, and soul. Through the art of Kuchipudi, I strive to share this devotion with my students and help them experience the spiritual joy of dance.
As a Board of Director, I see my service to the temple as an extension of my spiritual journey – a form of seva that allows me to give back to the community that has given me so much. It is my heartfelt wish to help preserve and promote our traditions, so that our temple continues to thrive as a place where faith, culture, and devotion flourish for generations to come.
